Sailing Season.... WooT

Its summer and time for sailing. Of all my hobbies, this is the one I look forward to the most. The sun, wind, and waves are relaxing, and harnessing the elements to race through the waters is such an exilerating feeling.

This is the 5th season I've crewed for Steve Magennis on the Alchemist, and this year, its a bigger boat. We race every Wednesday night in the Bayshore Summer Series.

I kept an extensive blog on the 2004 season at the Revnants' 7th Sea forum years ago if anybody wants to read it.

This was mostly so a bunch of land lubber pirate RPGers would have a clue what sailing was really like.

I have no intention of getting that detailed on sailing again in this blog, but I will say that after 9 months of a desk job, my muscles ache. It didn't help that we were short 2 crew for the first week.

Cool, I should convert it to a vector graphic and make a new puzzle. :)
